State Championship!

Mideast Regional
The Mideast Regional to determine which teams would advance to the 4A state finals was held at Wake Med on Saturday October 29th. Tuesday October 18th was a very important day for the Green Hope Cross Country team. The Great American Cross Country Festival was cancelled last weekend due to Hurricane Ian so the trip west to Kernersville for the NC Runners Invitational would be the last invitational of the year. The 3rd major invitational of the year is the Adidas Invitational at Wake Med Soccer Park every year in mid-September. Early Bird Invitational
The 1st invitational of the 2022 season was anew one called the Early Bird Challenge. This was a very low-key invitational which just provided runners an opportunity for their first 5K race of the year. Kickoff Classic
The 2022 racing season began on Saturday August 13th with the Kickoff Classic 3K at Wake Med. The race is not a traditional race as teams are split up into 2 races: 9th-10th graders in one and 11th-12th in another.
