NCHSAA 4A Mideast Regionals
The Green Hope Girls won their 5th consecutive Mideast Regional title on Saturday at Wake Med Soccer Park. The girls cruised to a 12 point win over a strong Broughton team and now have their sights set on the state meet on November 3rd. There was little drama heading into the 2012 Tri-9 Conference Championships in terms of which teams would win the team titles. Great American XC Festival
The Falcons had 86 runners compete in the Great American Cross Country Festival on September 29th, making it the largest number of GHXC runners to ever compete in one invitational. Seahawk Invitational
Hot and humid conditions impacted the times at the normally fast UNCW course for the Seahawk Invitational on September 8th. The Falcons once again, though, had a good day of racing.

Providence Invitational
The Falcons ran in their 1st 5K invitational of the year on Saturday, August 25th at McAlpine Park in Charlotte. The race has grown in recent years and many of the state’s top teams were among the 45 schools to race Saturday.
